BriteTap® Chicken Waterer
Clean Water Made Simple

Traditional chicken waterers are easily contaminated when dirt, debris and droppings fall into open pans of water.

The BriteTap waterer is different. It completely shields your flock's water from contamination, so the water stays sparkling clean and hygienic. No more poop-filled pans of water for you to touch or wash out!

The BriteTap waterer is fully covered. Chickens drink from special valves called poultry nipples located on the bottom of the BriteTap waterer.

Even chickens that have used a traditional waterer all their lives quickly learn to use the BriteTap waterer because they instinctively peck at the red water valves. Once one bird learns how to drink, the rest quickly do as well -- generally in just a few minutes.

The BriteTap waterer was a finalist in the 2012 Spark International Design Competition that recognizes product innovation and beauty.

Love it! September 16, 2014
Reviewer: Lindsay from Ocala, FL
My chickens immediately took to the britetap! It was incredible how fast! Being in Florida we have a big mosquito problem and I was having to change the water almost daily and still finding larvea, now with the britetap I don't have any mosquito worries and it so easy to refill that I don't even mind giving fresh water to my chickens daily, also when it's really hot I add ice cubes!

Love our chicken waterer! September 16, 2014
Reviewer: Dennis Lefler from Jamestown, NY United States
We have hung our chicken waterer in the coop and it is perfect for our flock. They caught onto the idea of pecking at the tabs right away, and this method keeps them from spilling water in the coop and from contaminating their water.

diminished the eggs productions September 14, 2014
Reviewer: Hipolito Rodriguez from Baker, FL United States
My chicken learned in 15 minutes how to use it but the eggs production is very low 25 chickens only four eggs with the new system. Before 15 to 24 eggs daily. Now I put my old fashion water system and in three days the eggs production went up again. I still looking for a new way to watered my chickens. The thing is I don't want to watered my chicken every day and at the same time I want to keep it clean. REPLY FROM BRITETAP: The BriteTap is designed to provide water to a flock of as many as 16 chickens. With 25 chickens in your flock you need 2 BriteTap units. No wonder your chickens are not getting enough water. Please contact us so we can assist you.

Brite Tap Chicken waterer September 10, 2014
Reviewer: Laura Malick Smith from Midlothian, TX United States
I purchased the attachment, and purchase a 2 gallon Rubbermaid brand water holder at Home Depot. I thought that was a good size as I currently have a small group of birds. It's not too heavy to fill and move. The drinking attachment went on very easy, fit's perfectly.

The chickens took to it right away. I always catch them drinking from the drips coming from the hose taps when we're watering, so I was reasonably sure that they would like this.

It's up off the ground, they aren't kicking dirt into it, and aren't roosting on top. Can't believe I spent so many years with the other water containers and constant cleaning.
