5 of 5 Keeps feed clean May 29, 2021

Love the ability to hang this; keeps the feed clean.  Also bought the extra tube so it will hold more.  For some reason it's a chicken favorite.  Another favorite is the waterer they sell.  I brought a hanging harness to suspend that one.

5 of 5 Innovative design July 29, 2019
Reviewer: Brigid McCrea from Opelika, AL United States
This is a really unique product.  It hangs or stands, whichever you want.  All parts are easy to clean.  Rain guard adjusts.  Love it for starting chicks and poults.  Someone is finally looking at old feeders and re-thinking the concept.  Wish they made it for larger feeders like 30 pounds or so.  It would look totally cool in the yard...everyone would be asking if it were yard art.

3 of 5 Don't waste money on bottom piece. January 22, 2019
Reviewer: Sarah Chandler from Tucson, AZ United States
The tube and part that prevents the chicks from pooping in their food are sturdier than expected and look like they'll last. I attached it to a old metal bottom, which fits nicely. I bought the bottom piece and it doesn't fit. Don't waste your money on the bottom piece.

4 of 5 BriteTap Chick Feeder Review April 11, 2017
Reviewer: Christy Phillips-Matlock from Astoria, OR United States
The BriteTap Chick Feeder is just what we needed. It keeps our little chick's feed nice and clean which saves us money and mess.
The only advice we have is to make the bottom more secure to the feed tube when it has feed in it. When we pick the Chick Feeder up often the bottom will fall off of the tube. Sad situation!!
Overall this is a great product!

4 of 5 Love it! August 17, 2016
Reviewer: Elizabeth Gentry from Knoxville, TN United States
I much prefer this feeder over the feeder I used with my chicks in the brooder. Easier to fill and the metal base I bought from the hardware store to go with it screws in easily. The lid to the food also screws in easily. One thing to be aware of, though. The shield moves easily, and so one day I came home and the shield had moved down to where the chicks could no longer eat. I'm assuming that the motion of their backs did it as they ate--I've got a tall one and a short one and one in between, only two months old, and so the shield is right now maybe too low for the tallest, the rhode island red. So possibly better positioning would help, or a second feeder, but I definitely would feel nervous about not checking on them at the end of the day. I bring my feeder in each night, and it was mostly still full when I noticed that the shield had moved positions and the chicks were very hungry. I'm still glad I got the feeder, though (and I absolutely love the waterer).
