Chicken feeder June 4, 2015 Reviewer: Erin Knight from GRoveland, MA United States   Love my new chicken feeder!  The design is spot on for keeping the chickens food clean and easy accessible.  I like how the hood turns up or down to accommodate the chickens growing stages.  The fill top design is great as well, so you don't have to keep turning the structure upside down to fill with food like the mason jar structure design.  I like you can use the same base with this tube and fill from the top and super clean for the hens. Brite Tap Oyster Shell Lid attachment May 25, 2015 Reviewer: Ronna from INDIANAPOLIS, IN United States   The oyster shell feeder lid attachment arrived very quickly.  The hanging feature is great keeping the feeder clean.  The cover shield is excellent keeping the feeder dry.  My previous oyster shell feeder was on a brick on the ground with no cover and got wet, dirty, and spilled and the one in the coop, the hens were not using because they only went in there to sleep and lay.  A little pricey but the perfect solution for me. Clever Design May 18, 2015 Reviewer: Karen S from Acton, CA United States   This comes with a tube, cap, and collar to screw on to those ubiquitous plastic circular chick feeders. It also comes with a small scoop perfectly sized to fit the tube. The design is simple yet ingenious. The tube fills from the top, so you don't have to dump out the last bit of feed left in the feeder unless you want to. You can buy another tube separately to screw on, which makes it taller to hold more feed. I worried that would make it top heavy, but I have very active chicks and it has never topped over or even seemed unsteady. The collar keeps chicks from perching on the feeder. Since the entire tube is grooved, it can screw higher up on the tube as the chicks grow. The plastic is quite thick and feels heavy duty. Since you can unscrew the cap and fill it from above, refilling is tidy and simple. You can save it for chicks or keep using it for grit or calcium. Great idea for backyard flocks. Great new product May 9, 2015 Reviewer: Karen from Gainesville, FL United States   We purchased the new chick feeder for our new baby chicks.  This is the best feeder we have found for our "babies".  With the shield, they are not able to get in or on the feeder to poop in it,, which was a problem in the past.  The shield raises easily as they grow.  Then, when these chicks are grown, we can use the feeder for grit or treats for all the chickens.  We are very happy with this feeder! I like this feeder May 4, 2015 Reviewer: Eric Robinson from Fremont, CA United States   I have about 20 wild quail using this feeder. The feeder is placed in a backyard sprinkler irrigated location that is watered daily. The sprinklers apply a rainfall like shower over the feeder. However, the seed stays quite dry. Good product.
