Freez Free® Brand Horizontal Poultry Nipple 10-Pack
The clean all-weather chicken watering valveTM

Freez Free® brand watering nipples are premium quality valves that dispense water directly into a chicken's mouth and automatically stop when the chicken removes it's beak. Since the water supply is not exposed to the open air, it remains clean and uncontaminated by dirt, debris and droppings.

Freez Free valves contain fewer internal metal parts than other watering valves so they are more resistant to freezing in winter. When used with a bucket de-icer, bird bath de-icer or other submersible heater, Freez Free valves can keep your chickens water liquid, even when the temperature drops well below freezing.

  • Can also be screwed into 3/4" or larger diameter PVC pipe
  • Each nipple supplies 8 chickens with water. Can also water chicks over 2 weeks old, ducks, quail, guinea fowl, and rabbits.

I love the Chicken Waterer with the igloo cooler set up.  But my turkeys pulled out one nipple so I ordered these replacement nipples and it’s back in order. Customer service is excellent. I recommend these products.

At least the third time buying these.  They really do not freeze up if the water in the bucket is heated with a bucket heater, even at 0 degrees F.  I will use no other type of water nipple or method for watering the chickens.  When it is cold out I do not want to have to mess with frozen nipples.  Hints:  1) use a paddle bit that cuts a clean circle in the side of the bucket (twist drills do not cut a clean hole).  Find and use a small o-ring that fits around the nipple shaft.  Absolutely no leaks.
