Freez Free watering nipples are beak-activated valves that dispense water directly into a chicken's mouth and automatically stop when the chicken removes it's beak. Since the water supply is not exposed to the open air, it remains clean and uncontaminated by dirt, debris and droppings.

Freez Free valves contain fewer internal metal parts than other watering valves so they are more resistant to freezing in winter. When paired with a bucket heater, bird bath de-icer or other submersible heater, Freez Free valves can keep your chickens water liquid, even when the temperature drops well below freezing.
